- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 8 oz (225g) linguine
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet with olive oil and butter over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side. Add minced garlic in the last minute.
- 3. Let the steak rest before slicing.
- 4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic before adding heavy cream and cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
- 5. Mix in Parmesan, mozzarella, and Cajun seasoning until melted; add reserved pasta water if needed.
- 6. Toss linguine in the sauce before plating with sliced steak on top.
