- 1 can diced tomatoes (400g)
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (400g)
- 2 cans tomato sauce (800g total)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons minced parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in an extra-large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and green peppers for 5–7 minutes until softened; add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground chuck to the skillet; brown the meat and drain excess grease.
- Stir in all seasonings followed by crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Mix thoroughly.
- Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 1 hour.
- In a separate large pot, boil water and cook spaghetti for 7–8 minutes until al dente; drain.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with the sauce; toss well to coat and serve warm.
