Instructions

- Roll out dough into a larger rectangle, place chilled butter in the center, fold and seal edges.
- Roll out dough again and fold into thirds; repeat chilling process two more times.
- Cut triangles from rolled-out dough and place chocolate batons at the wide ends before rolling up tightly.
- Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and proof until doubled in size (about 45 minutes).
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), brush with egg wash mixed with milk, bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
