  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups cake flour
  • 1 oz freeze dried strawberries (pulverized)
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (slightly chilled)
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/2 oz. freeze dried strawberries (pulverized)
  • 4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F(175°C) and grease three 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In separate mixing bowls, combine dry ingredients for chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cakes. In another bowl, mix wet ingredients until smooth.
  3. Gradually combine wet and dry mixtures for each flavor until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
