  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (plus more if needed)

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup very cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • ½ cup very cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine canned peaches (with syrup), melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and flour; mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt; cut in cold unsalted butter until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until dough forms.
  4. Roll out half the dough and place it in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Pour peach filling over the crust.
