Ingredients
- 4 cups strawberries
- ½ cup water
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 16 oz mascarpone cheese
- 260 g ladyfingers
- Freeze-dried strawberries (for dusting)

- In a saucepan, combine strawberries and water; cook for 5 minutes. Mash and strain through a fine sieve into a bowl. Add sugar and lemon juice; simmer until thickened.
- Whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then gently fold into the mascarpone mix along with cooled strawberry syrup.
- Dip ladyfingers in the syrup briefly and layer them in your serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone filling on top, followed by another layer of ladyfingers and remaining filling. Chill for at least 6 hours.
- Before serving, dust with freeze-dried strawberry powder and garnish with sliced fresh strawberries.
